Are you passionate about supporting families affected by substance use?
Here’s an exciting opportunity to expand your impact!

We’re thrilled to invite you to apply for the Invitation to Change (ITC) Facilitator Training, offered through the Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC) Network. This evidence-based program equips community organizations, behavioral health professionals, and support groups with the tools needed to lead transformative family support sessions.

What Is ITC?

The Invitation to Change approach is a compassionate, research-informed model developed by CMC: Foundation for Change. It blends proven strategies such as Community Reinforcement Approach and Family Training (CRAFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI),  and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)  to help families strengthen relationships, build effective communication skills, and promote self-care while supporting loved ones on their change journeys.

Training Highlights

This two-level virtual training prepares you to facilitate a 15-week Invitation to Change Family Support Group in your community:

  • Level 1 — ITC Fundamentals (16 hours)
  • Level 2 — Group Leader Curriculum (16 hours)

Participants must attend all sessions and commit to launching an ITC group upon completion of training. Multiple scheduling options are available to accommodate differing time zones and availability. For more information on training dates and times, please visit the website.
