Continuing Education
Per the Division of Professions and Occupations (formally known as DORA), Continuing Professional Development (CPD) became effective in 2011 and requires the following mental health professionals to maintain professional development in order to renew, reactivate or reinstate a license:
- Licensed Social Workers
- Licensed Clinical Social Workers
- Licensed Professional Counselors
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists
- Licensed Addiction Counselors
- Certified Addiction Counselors Levels II and III
Courses for Continuing Education
Colorado Counselor Training provides a wide variety of professional development courses approved by the Office of Behavioral Health. Working professionals are encourages to sign up for any of our courses in the paths for CAC I, II or III to meet their continuing education requirements.
