Location: Fort Collins, CO
Status: Full-Time 40/hrs. a week; and Part-Time hours at 20 & 30/hrs. a week
As a Peer Specialist we will use your, life experience from your personal journey of recovery of addiction and/or mental health challenges to engage, advocate, and link SummitStone Health Partners clients to formal or informal treatment activities, services, and/or supports. Responsibilities may include providing direct client care through individual and group sessions face to face, phone or telehealth contact. Services that are community based and centered around client’s recovery goals. A Peer Specialist offers mentoring and advise to keep clients engaged in treatment and is knowledgeable of resources to share with treatment teams and collaterals.

Experiences and Background We Look For
- Required: High School Diploma or GED. Applications will be considered for those who demonstrate active and sustained personal recovery for 2 years by providing 3 letters of recommendation. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in medical health record and have knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office applications.
- Preferred: Bicultural/Bilingual.
Wage Ranges
- $15.44/hr. to $21.62/hr.
